CBD Testimonials: A Collection

As CBD (Cannabidiol) becomes prevalent as a pain and anxiety relief solution for people, the research continues to lag behind. CBD is derived from Industrial Hemp a member of the Cannabis plant family. Locked away for decades as a Schedule 1 drug, Cannabis has been severely under researched and as a result remains a bit of a mystery.

Cannabinoids are the key molecules that affect people when they ingest or apply a cannabis product. Whether it be CBD from the Industrial Hemp plant or THC from the Marijuana plant, understanding how the Cannabinoids work in the body is the key to unlocking the multitude of benefits of this amazing plant.

Long used for recreational purposes, Marijuana has been studied more than the other cannabinoids, however, it is now apparent that the benefits it provides pale in comparison to the benefits people are finding with CBD.

Researching these benefits will require years of controlled studies subject to rigorous peer review. The process will be a long one and people who are already enjoying the benefits of CBD have no interest in waiting.

CBD is helping people right now with many, many issues including pain, anxiety and sleeplessness. This molecule is now a member of more than the Cannabis family, it is now a member of many a person’s medical treatment family.

These people know what the benefits are and they are happy to share them. The relief they feel knowing that there is now a product that they can use that will address their issues without risk of addiction or overdose is a very dramatic development.

Many of these people have been dealing with debilitating pain, insomnia or anxiety for decades with little relief in sight. Since the legalization of CBD, they are more optimistic than ever and never hesitate to share their testimonials.

Here are a few:

“It made me less anxious and on edge… While normally I’d be slightly tripped up by little things like an overly crowded subway car or a full inbox at work, the CBD oil seems to have taken the edge off of my anxiety a bit. Rather than overthinking a sternly worded email or analyzing a social interaction, I’ve found it easier to recognize the irrationality of these thoughts and actually let them go (instead of ruminating on the situation). In some ways, I feel more like myself.” – Kelsey Clark

“Tried out your product over the weekend – it’s different in that it doesn’t feel quite an oil like the other one I have been taking. BUT, as I realized your dropperful contains at least twice as much CBD as my other product, I adjusted for the amount I took – realizing I was still taking a higher dose – with winter so long and my pain levels so high and being so out of shape – I went out and did more today and yesterday than I have done in months and the pain levels are so minimal it is amazing! Gardening, pulling weeds mowing lawns, weedeating – was able to do a great days work both days without being ‘crippled‘ prior to taking a second smaller dose in the evening!!”                                                                                     – Andy’s Hemp Product’s Customer

The pain in Andy Arnold’s neck had grown so severe that it radiated down his left side, leaving his hand numb.

Unable to turn his head or even lay flat in bed, the Greenville attorney missed more than a week of work.

He was sent for an MRI, underwent chiropractic treatments and even ultrasound therapy. But the pain persisted.

“I have some pretty significant neck issues,” he told The Greenville News. “I had a terrible time with it.”

Finally, his doctor advised him to give up his martial arts classes.

So a year ago, he decided to try CBD oil, an increasingly popular product proliferating on store shelves everywhere.

“It worked,” Arnold said. “There was a clear difference. Not even a doubt.”

Jen Bernstein, 38, the mother of a 3-year-old, uses CBD to help her sleep and decompress. “I’m less likely to scream and freak out that there’s, you know, hot pink Play-Doh smushed into the carpet,” she said. “It kind of washes away the day’s stress.”

So instead of having a glass of wine, at the end of the day Ms. Bernstein prefers to eat CBD gummies.

More and more testimonials come in every day. People seem to all follow the same arc of awareness in regard to CBD.  The initial, justified, hesitancy is soon replaced with enthusiasm, understanding and appreciation. The relief is real and the happiness that follows is as well. CBD is a testimonial product. Friend to friend conversations open doors that had been closed and soon the word is spreading fast.

The product is new to the market so there are some very important concepts people need to understand about quality, source, product analysis and price before they invest too much in to a CBD product. Fortunately, there are resources out there, including blogs like this one, that can help a person understand how to buy CBD without getting fleeced.

All of this being said, there is in fact some very compelling science out there for those people seeking more solid information. Below is a recent set of findings that can help a person understand a bit of the science behind what they are hearing from friends and family.

According to a University of Pittsburgh study[1] released in February 2019:

“CBD appears to be an anti-inflammatory for the brain and the central nervous system”.

“Such effects could possibly reduce anxiety, depression, seizures, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and even benefit people who have had a concussion.”

“CBD’s most far-reaching health effect may be its anti-inflammatory properties. And not just in a knee or hip joint, but throughout the body, including the central nervous system and the brain,” Joseph Maroon, M.D., a clinical professor of neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

CBD is here to stay and eventually so much more will be known, in the meantime, the people have spoken and the results are apparent. CBD helps people in a safe and effective way and the science community will soon be able to tell us why.

In the meantime, conduct your own research, understand the milligrams and quality of the CBD your are taking and keep an eye on the market prices. They will be coming down.

By identifying a trusted resource for your CBD products you can be assured that you will be serviced for years to come. Enjoy!
